Referrals have been added to the sign-up process, if you refer a member to AFG get them to add your AFG handle to the referral box when they sign up. A users referral total can be viewed in their profile or on the member list, clicking the referral link on the member list will sort the list, with the highest referrers at the top.

Quick Links has been added to the allformatgaming header bar, clicking this will bring up a menu with various links which will aid navigation.

Added in the User Control Panel, under the Profile tab, is an option to display User Wish and Games List links, in both the forums (under your avatar) and on your profile page. The option, by default, is set to no. This currently links to the beta version of the page.

Another tab has been added to the User Control Panel, a Videogames tab. This tab will govern your settings when viewing the videogame database. Currently you can only change a few options. You can select who can view your lists, and how search results are displayed, by default. These settings affect both the normal and beta versions of the videogame index page.

I have added a new BBCODE, which works using the Videogame database. The Game Data BBCODE will add a link, which will open up the Game Pop Up box, as it does on the Beta Index page.

Clicking the Game Data button on the post message / edit signature page, will open a pop-up menu, the same search functionality adopted on the beta page allows you to search for the right game. Clicking on the game, will add the code to the message box, as below.

The number is the game's ID, this must remain the same, for the correct game to be displayed. You can change the game name, to change how the resulting link is displayed, this does not affect the pop-up menu, as below.

With the recent update of the PlayStation Network Portable ID, now including trophies, I have changed the way in which your gamer cards are viewable on the posting and profile pages.

If you have associated your PSN ID to your account, it will now display under your signature. This will not be visible at first, click the 'Show Gaming Cards' button, to view these and then click 'Hide Gaming Cards' to hide them again. Your Xbox Live GamerCard is also now in this section, if set. Because the full Portable ID is large, we have decided to not use these as avatars any more.

Portable ID's are not automatically assigned and messages will appear in place of images if a user has not set theirs. To set up your Portable ID, visit http://eu.playstation.com/, sign in using your PSN ID and follow the onscreen instructions.

You may have noticed more forums have been added to AFG, quite a few more, each game that is on the database now has it's own forum and from now on, every game that is added/verified will automatically get it's own forum.

Game forums will show the game header, allowing you to quickly jump to the game page, and on the game page, a link to the game's forum has been added also. I also aim to add more cross functionality between the forums and the database in future.

Viewing of gaming cards in topic pages has been moved, now simply hover over either the users GamerTag or PSN ID, under their avatar, to view the card.

Note: There is currently a known issue whereby Internet Explorer does not load or takes longer than usual to load the Gamer Card, via this method. We are working to resolve this issue. UPDATE: This issue has been resolved, however it is now not possible to select the gamer card, it will disappear when the cursor is not over the gamer tag.

Users and guests can now minimise sections of the AFG forums, where there's a group of forums under a certain category (Such as Microsoft, Nintendo or Sony), you can click on the little icon to the right of the header section to minimise that section. Also, these sections will change red when they have new posts in, to allow you to more clearly see where new posts have been made, especially if you have minimised that section.

This function requires Javascript and Cookies enabled in order for the effect to remain on re-entering the page. As this is controlled via Cookies, it will only apply to the computer it has been set on.

Certain topic tools which were found at the bottom of the page have been move, you'll now see a Topic Tools tab on the top of the topic page, this will allow you to bookmark, subscribe and bump topics, as well as viewing the topics RSS feed.

Just a general note, British Summer Time is now in effect (DST), the board will not automatically update to this due to variations between countries, if you need to update go in to your User Control Panel, click the Board Preferences tab, and change Summer Time/DST is in effect to Yes.

I will look into having this updated automatically in the future, but for now it must be set manually.
